STUDENTS Chess Club
This is our fifth year of Chess Club at the High School Campus. We welcome and encourage any and all of our students to come out and participate. Club meets every Wednesday after school starting at approximately 3:00 PM.
We expanded Chess Club to the Elementary Campus two years ago. We met during the mid-day Lunch/Recess Period for the first through sixth grade students. We will be following the same format again this year.
The big news for the new school year is that we are planning to host our FOURTH ANNUAL TEAM CHESS TOURNAMENT and will be inviting several other christian schools in the Delaware valley area to participate. Last year we hosted 208 competitors and we anticipate this will be a tremendous hit with both our club members, their families and friends.
This year we plan to have our teams participate in at least three tournaments. In addition, we will be expanding the extent of participation. The teams will not only consist of the high school students, but we will be compteing with teams from both the elementary school and junior high classes.

We had the largest turnout ever especially from the first-time attending Clinton Christian Academy from Upper Marlboro, MD near Washington DC!! And, we anticipate more schools and more players this year!
