Born in the suburban midwest, I am thankful for my parents, for their faithfulness to the Lord and for being instrumental in leading me to a saving knowledge of Him. I am also thankful for their example of love and fidelity to one another as they've been married for over 50 years now. Educated in large regional public schools, my first experience in Christian education was in college, where I met my husband of 30 years. He has a Bible major, minoring in history with a master's degree in pastoral studies, has served as youth pastor, AWANA commander, Junior church and Bible school coordinator, and adult Sunday School teacher over the years. We have two children and two grandchildren. I have led students on study tours to Spain, France and Italy and am an avid art and history enthusiast. I have been recognized by gracious former students who nominated me into "Who's Who Among America's Teachers."
