Galatians 5:13 tells us to serve one another humbly in love.  This past Friday, BRS students from 7th-12th grades took to the streets to display their servant’s heart for the Lord by serving in the community.  Students participated in the cleaning of Station Avenue as well the school and busses.  Others went to a nursing home nearby and painted pumpkins with the seniors who were overjoyed to spend time with our young people.  Still others baked for the homeless and signed birthday cards for prisoners.

Following their activities for the day, the students enjoyed a lovely picnic at the park, set up for them by the school’s High School Student Council.  We thank our students for their joy, love, and servant’s attitudes!
