2017 Team: AJ Carver, Aidan Pehrman, Aiden Smith, Terrence Mollineau, Ethan Scally, Colin Welsh, Nigel Belcher, Tyler Galcik, Niko Savateri, Kyle Schroll, Josh Wescher, Lindon Ye, and Ethan Zook
The Junior High Boys Soccer Team had a season of learning. We had four wins, four losses, and two ties – which was better than our last year’s record of just three wins. We played well as a team, but it wasn’t until the end of the season when we all realized that passing and good ball movement was the key to our success. Over the season, we bonded and grew as team members and friends. The teammates who had the most goals were Ethan Zook with thirteen, Kyle Schroll with ten, and Nigel Belcher with eight. The mastermind behind all of our team’s success was Coach Welsh. He taught us team work and made the season fun. Since I am an eighth grader, it was my last year on this team. I hope next year’s team will have a lot of success and have the same fun that we had playing for the Junior High Boys Soccer Team.
