Biographical Sketch

I grew up in a small country town in Northeastern Ohio.  At the age of 20, I realized I needed to surrender my life to Christ and accept His salvation for my sin, and soon after was baptized.  I attended Baptist Bible College for 2 1/2 years where I also met my husband.  We were married 30 years ago this April, at Haddon Heights Baptist Church in 1981.  We have been blessed with 5 children.  We have 4 children with us and one with Jesus.  The Lord opened the door for employment for me at BRS in 1999, to enable my children to finish their high school years in a Christian atmosphere with Bible-based education where they could develop Christian friendships.  Christopher, Erin and Katelyn - all BRS alumni are College graduates or soon to be!  Stephen, a Senior, will be our last BRS graduate with the class of 2011.  After nearly 12 years at BRS, I still say; "Where do all the years go?"  They come and go with every child.  Each little face that sends laughter through these halls, grows only too quickly into a young adult face... and it's another year!
