Haddon Heights Baptist Church
I was born into a Christian family and accepted God’s gift of salvation as my own when I was 5 years old. I grew up at Haddon Heights Baptist Church where I was baptized at the age of 12. During my high school years I had the privilege of teaching God’s Word to a group of girls at John 5:24 Mission in Philadelphia. God used that experience to direct me into education. After graduation from Haddon Heights High School, I attended Cedarville College. I met my husband, Pat, while I was teaching in the public school system. We have two children, Christine ('89) and PJ ('93), both of whom attended Bethel Baptist Christian School as well as graduated from BHS. My daughter and her husband, John Carter ('85) have one son, John, who is in 7th grade at BRS.
The Lord led me to Baptist High School in 1979 where I taught business classes including accounting, business math, shorthand, and typing. I later introduced computers into the curriculum. In 1995 I was appointed High School Principal and in 2004 when BHS and BBCS merged I was honored to be selected as the first Head Administrator of Baptist Regional School.
My life verse if I Thess. 5:24 – “Faithful is he who calls you who also will do it.” God proves himself faithful every day!
